"SAVE TO TRAVEL"
BRITISH RAILWAY SCHEME
(British Offldal Wireless.) RUGBY, December 17. ■ An ingenious scheme for the payment of railway fares by instalments is announced by two of the main-line railways. Booking offices will sell Is "save-to-travel" stamps. A card of ten such stamps can be exchanged for a 10s voucher ■which will bear interest so that in six months it will be worth 10s 3d. Vouchers and stamped cards may be used at any time for the purchase of all descriptions of single or return tickets, except season tickets.
