Dn .Allan John Bothamley, aged 45, of Johnston Street, Fitzroy, was before ?the City, Court at Melbourne on' November 26' charged with the murder of Dr. Frank. Stanislaus Loughnan, aged 35,' who was found dead in his surgery,-his head having been battered, with a blood-stained tire lever beside the body." .Detective Hogg gave evidence that Bothamley visited the detective, Office and declared he had killed Loughnan. .The. detective said it had been alleged that an argument occurred in. connection with a payment of money due far A medical. ■ practice which Bothamley bought from Loughnan. A serious altercation occurred in the surgery.. Loughnan died from severe wounds inflicted with a tire lever. -.'..■■ . ','. . - ■
