Christian Psychology. . The final meeting for the year of the, 'Harmony" Christian psychology class (formerly conducted by Mrs. Albert Russell) and now under the leadership of Mrs. N. Cruttenden, was well attended on Monday, when all present joined in making the evening a happy social gathering. Mrs. F. Browne gave a most interesting address. Warm (tributes were paid to Mrs. Cruttenden for the service she had given to the class since Mrs. Russell departed, and she was presented by Mrs. F. Browne (on behalf of the members) with a beautiful handbag and volume. She was also the recipient of many flowers and good wishes. Supper was served, and the party concluded with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne." Among those present were Mesdames Walshe, Pollard, Robertshawe, Andrews, Rigg, Jordan, Browne, Geary, Henley, King, Shepherd, Murray, Whitwell, Turner, Davidson, Britton, and Misses Kendall, Rigg, Farley, Palmer, and Douglas. Appreciative Visitors. Mr. and Mrs. G. E. H. Noblett, of Adelaide, South Australia, left for Napier this morning. They intend to visit Palmerston North, Wanganui, Auckland, and Rotorua, and will return to South Australia early in the New Year; Mr. Noblett is president of the South African War Veterans' Association of South Australia. He has taken 'the opportunity of meeting the executives of the various branches here,' arid has gained some very useful information for the benefit of his association when he returns to Adelaide. Pleasant Tea Party. A charming little party was given at the Midland Hotel yesterday afternoon by Mrs. E. D. Good and her daughter, when they entertained a number of friends. The decorations were very artistic, pink .carnations and sweet peas,' with maidenhair fern, being used with excellent effect. A delicious tea was served, and with pleasant conversation the time passed happily. Among those present were Madame Nihotte, Mrs. G. A. Bucklin, Mrs. T. Gray, Mrs. Schmitt, Mrs. J. Payne, Mrs. Symon, Mrs. W. Sutch, and Mrs. Helyer. Mrs. Good wore a reception frock of.patterned marocain and a blue hat, her daughter wearing a dainty suit of orange patterned linen and a white i hat.
