MASTERTON DRAINAGE

(Special to the "Evening Post.")

MASTERTON, This Day. Proposals for the general improvement of the borough drainage and sewerage system and the remedying of known defects were contained in a detailed report submitted to Tuesday night's meeting of the Borough Council by the borough engineer, Mr. C. R. Mabson. It was resolved to seek the co-operation of the Director-General of Health- in assisting the council to raise a loan of £1500 to make a start with the work.
