TRAINING OF TEACHERS

THE DUNEDIN COLLEGE

(By Telegraph.) (Special to the "Evening Post.")

DUNEDIN, This Day. "We are exceedingly pleased," said the chairman of the Otago Education Board (Mr. Wallace), when asked to comment on the decision of Cabinet to reopen the Dunedin Training College. "The new Minister has been kind enough to advise me of his intention," added Mr. Wallace, "and the board, having full confidence that the Minister would honour his promise, has already practically made complete arrangements for staffing and reopening the college by March."

Mr. Wallace said that there would be nothing lacking on the board's part to have everything in readiness for the assembling of students by mid-Feb-ruary.
