HOLIDAY ENGAGEMENTS
A. E. Ellis has not yet decided on his plans .for the holiday racing. He has , no mount jn .either the Auckland Cup or Railway Handicap, and his only engagement of any consequence ait Ellerslie is on Lady Graceful in the Great Northern •' Derby IHe has' received offers'Of several mounts at the southern meetings, at which his brother, E. J. Ellis, will have a strong team,: and if he goes south Lady Graceful will no doubt be ridden in the Derby-by L. J. Ellis. 'This horseman has hot received advice of any change in Silver Streak's plans; and as the Oamaru gelding. has not been nominated for any southern meetings besides Dunedin, his trip to Ellerslie is fairly certain to be made. .
