MORNING DELIGHT
"One tranquil Saturday morning my friends and I went up on the hiU-top to ' admire the beauty of the hills Climbing up the hill was light wctk and ,on reaching the summit a gentle i zephyr met us, bringing with v tne scent of flowers. We climbed a fenc° and looked across to the South Island, ; where we saw the majestic snow-clad 1 mountains and the azure sky above them. The sight was really very .picturesque. ; ' Coming slowly dowiragaln we came 1 upon a little stream filled \ritli watercress. We followed it down until we reached a smooth, glass-like pool surrounded by native flora. /We now resumed1 our way, walking* out of the trance we had been in, and to hurryhome to tell of the marvellous panorama we had witnessed.
