Winds.—Moderate north-east to northerlles prevailing north of Kawhla and Tauranga; elsewhere moderate to strong north to west, reaching galo force at times about Cook and Foveaux Straits.
Barometer.—A falling tendency. Seas.—Kough about Cook and Toveaux Straits; rising on the west coast of the South Island; olsewhore moderate.
Weather.—Still for tho most part fair but with rain at times in districts with a westerly aspect and in tho far south. Temperatures warm.
