TONIGHT'S WRESTLING.
Tonight's wrestling contest at the Town Hall between "Lofty" Blomfield and Jaget Singh promises to provide a strenuous and exciting contest. Blomfield has built up a very formidable record in New Zealand this season, and the fact that he is the only man to have taken a fall from the Canadian Earl McCready, in this country speaks for itself. The New Zealander, for Blomfield was born and bred in the Dominion, .is already very popular with Wellington fans,, who appreciate the fact that he always endeavours to give them full value, and there should be a big "house" present tonight to see how he fares against the deadly "deathlock," in the application of which his opponent Singh is such a past-master. The Indian, who is in fine form at present, he drew with Wade last week, is a highly spectacular wrestler, as well as being a cunning, resourceful man inside the ropes, and should thoroughly extend the New Zealander. There will be amateur preliminaries from? 8 o'clock. Particulars are advertised.
