BODY FOUND IN BATHS

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

HASTINGS, This Day.

Keith Desmond- Lowe, aged 10, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Lowe, Evenden Road, Hastings, was drowned in the Mahora School baths on Saturday afternoon. Until the caretaker discovered clothing in a cubicle after the baths had been closed no one suspected that the boy was missing.

Shortly after 2 o'clock Keith and his 13-year-old brother went to the baths. So far as the elder boy knows, when he left later Keith was swimming at the shallow end. The caretaker went on his rounds in the course of which he discovered some clothes in a cubicle. A search was made for the owner and a body was seen lying on the floor of the baths at the deep end. The body was recovered and a doctor called but the boy was dead.
