PROBABLE TEST TEAM

(Received December 4, 11 a.m.)

LONDON, December 3.

The members of the New Zealand Rugby football team are ' spending a quiet week in Dublin, where their Test with Ireland is to be played on Saturday. Most of them are feeling the extreme cold. It is regarded as almost j certain that the team to play against i Ireland will be:— • ! Full-back: Gilbert. Three-quarters: Mitchell, Oliver Hart. ' Five-eighths: Caughey, Griffiths. HaU-back: Sadler.

Fonyards: Lambourn, Hadley, Dalton, McKenzie, Reid, King, Manchester, and Mahoney.

Though still suffering from a bruised leg, Griffiths is expected, to be fit by Saturday. Pepper has a heavy cold, but there is a possibility of his being preferred to Dalton.

All the members of the touring team have been presented with expensive Irish linen handkerchiefs. Many have found it necessary to .buy extra trunks and suitcases to hold the souvenirs which have been received from all parts of Britain.

Mahoney is the "souvenir king." His collection includes fifteen ■ jerseys, twenty club ties, and dozens of badges.'
