CANBERRA, TJiis Day. Not a trace has been found of the schooner Hermes. The Administrator of New Guinea fears the worst, as a. search by three vessels has proved fruitless. . ■•„.-
A message from Rabaul received in Sydney on November . 26";said that anxiety was felt for the safety of the Administration's schooner Hermes, which was considerably overdue from Madang with three whites and seventeen natives aboard.
