EXPEDITION

CANBERRA, December 2.

The Federal! Cabinet has under consideration the dispatch of an Australian expedition to the Antarctic to search for Mr. Lincoln Ellsworth and \Mr. Hallick-Kenyon.

Cable messages have been sent to the British Government asking permission to utilise the British research ship Discovery the Second, which is due at Fremantle shortly.
