MATCH AT LEVIN
A. match between a Wellington junior representative team and Horowhenua was played at Levin and resulted in a win foe- the visitors on the first innings. Features of the Wellington team's performance were excellent bowling and batting by Potier, who took five wickets for 26 runs and made a century. Those, who represented Wellington were: Potier, Gwilliam, White, Lubransky, Crawford, Bush,. Boddy, Boyes, James, and Brabin. The scores were:—Horowhenua, 147 (Atmore 25. Bannister 2, Crammond 33, Pratt 0, Rolfe 26, McKenzie 28, France 2, Bell 10, Crisp 5, Walker 0, Astwood 1 not out, extras 15). Bowling: Potier five wickets for 26 runs, Clark two for 12, Bush one for 13, White two for 26. Wellington, 233 for six wickets (Potier 103 retired, Gwilliam 0, Crawford 27, White 32, Lubransky 1, Bush 25 not out, Boddy 24 retired, Boyes 4 not out, extras 17).
