New Zealand's next Prime Minister, Mr.'M. J. Savage, received a rousing farewell when he . left Auckland for Wellington tonight. Crowds thronged th> station platform, and Mr. Savage had to respond to loud cheers and the mnsic-froma band as the train left.
;Mr». Savage will have an interview with the retiring Prime Minister (the »j:.;H6n. G. W. Forbes) in Wellington tomorrow, and on Tuesday all the Labour, members elected last week will-meet, at Parliament Buildings to ljegin the task of Cabinet construction end to decide details of future policy.
