MINERS' WAGES
NEGOTIATIONS IN BRITAIN
(British Official Wireless.) (Received November 30, 11.45 a.m.) RUGBY, November 29. The expected meeting between th« Secretary for Mines, Captain Crookshank, and the coal owners to discuss the position arising put of the miners' demand for a national advance of wages did not tafc.s place today. The owners' representatives ' are returning to consult their district organisations, and will meet Captain. Crookshanlc again next Thursday. This information was given to officials of the Mine Workers' Federation, when they saw the Secretary for Mines.
