CONTROL REQUEST

TORONTO, November 23. The fear that the Canadian Government, in its desire to reduce tariffs, will enact trade agreements which might cause the Canadian market to be flooded with New Zealand and Australian butter was expressed at the convention of the Ontario Creamery Association, which adopted a resolution requesting the Government to exercise such a measure of control over imports as would result in butter being brought into Canada only in such quantities as her demand required.
