SEASIDE PICTURES, LYALL BAY.
At the Seaside' Pictures" tonight at 7.30 a. double-feature programme will be screened. 'G Men," featuring James Cagney and Margaret Lindsay, is a picture packed with tense action and stirring drama, with just enough comedy to make it bright. It is based on the war against crime by the Federal agents throughout America. "Lady Tubbs," a brilliant comedy starring Alice Brady, tells of the ups and downs of a camp cook who becomes rich and crashes society overnight. Four short subjects will also be shown.
A notice appears in this issue reminding the public of Wellington North that the annual district meeting of the Boy Scouts' Association takes place in Sydney Street Schoolroom on Monday next at 8 p.m.
