■ A successful concert, organised by Miss J. Melntosh. postmistress at Otaki Railway, in aid of the Otaki Health Camp Fund, was given last evening to a packed house in the Otaki Railway Theatre. The concert, which was given before a most enthusiastic audience, was freely commented upon as being the most outstanding event in Otaki for many years.

At the conclusion of the performance Mr. L. G. Lowry thanked the assisting artists, some of whom had come from as far as "Wellington. Mr. Lowry after referring to the work of the Health Camp, said although all could not be Barnados, they could all assist when the way was made easy as it had been that night. He referred to the splendid work that had been done by Miss Melntosh in organising the concert. Miss Melntosh had been assisted by Mrs. Fiebig, together with a committee comprising Miss Lethbridge, Mr. Eric Tooby, and Mr. F lUile.

At the conclusion of Mr. Lowry's remarks, the audience spontaneously rang "For They are Jolly Good Fellows." A dance was held after the concert.
