LONDON, November 26.
The Prince of Wales honoured the Jubilee meeting of the Empire Lodge at the Freemasons' Hall. There were 200 present, including representatives of the Australian and New Zealand lodges. The gathering cheered the Prince of Wales's reference to how Freemasonry fostered the Empire spirit. He congratulated the lodge on having for fifty years entertained overseas. Masons at London's Masonic home.
Lord Stonehaven, who responded on behalf of the sister grand lodges,' told stories of his experiences in. Australia, where he served a term as GovernorGeneral. He mentioned an up-country Masonic meeting where the "local garage keeper, who was the master of the lodge, told him some home truths but said that a Governor-General could not otherwise make contact with the plain man. .
Mr. Cliye Baillieu, an Australian representative on the Imperial Economic Committee, welcomed the guests. Mr. H. H. Sterling, chairman of the New Zealand Railways Board, responded. \
