BOXER RETURNING HOME

The boxer Ambrose Palmer is returning to Australia owing to private jj cables from his wife at Melbourne. He "isays that he hopes to return in the to meet the winner of the | Petersen-Harvey bout.

It was stated in "The Post" on Saturday that Palmer had received a cable "Return at once" from his wite on the eve of his fight with Wenstob. Mrs. Palmer has not disclosed the reason for the message.
