CANDIDATES' MEETINGS

The final rallies of the Labour candidates, with the assistance of other prominent Labour Party speakers, will be held tonight and tomorrow evening in various parts of the electorates, as follows:—

Mr. P. M. Butler, Wellington Suburbs, will address eleclors in the Parish Hall, Karori, this evening, and tomorrow wili address open-air meetings at Ngaio, Wade.slown, Northland, Aro Street, finishing •at Fulford's Hall Brooklyn.

■ Mr. G.TI. Chapman. Wellington North, will address open-air .meetings at

Patangata Crescent at 7 io'clock and at Garrett Street at 8 o'clock this evening, and will address electors in the Trades Hall, Vivian Street, at 8 o'clock tomorrow.

Mr. R. McKeen, Wellington South, will address electors in the Masonic Hall, Island Bay, this evening. Tomorrow evening Mr. McKeen will address electors at the corner of Mem and Coromandel Streets, at 7.30. Mr. P. Fraser will also address this meeting. At 8 o'clock Mr. McKeen will address an open-air meeting at Green Street. Tonight Mr. R. Semple, Wellington East, will address electors at the Tea Kiosk, Seatoun, at 7.30 o'clock, and in Hataitai School, Hataitai, at 8 o'clock. Tomorrow evening Mr. Semple will address open-air meetings at Kilbirnie and Lyall Bay, and meetings in the Catholic Hall, Miramar, and The Realm, Hataitai.

This evening Mr. P. Fraser, Wellington Central, will address electors in the Congregational Schoolroom, Cambridge Terrace, at 8 o'clock, and tomorrow evening in the Presbyterian Schoolroom, Kent Terrace, and the Methodist Hall, Webb Street. Also, open-air meetings at Drummond Street, and, with Mr. R. McKeen, at the corner of Coromandel aiid Mem Streets, at 7.30 o'clock.

Mr. R. A. Wright, Independent candidate for Wellington Suburbs, will speak at Khandallah, Boxhill Parish Hall, tonight (Monday), and at Kearney's Tearooms, Tinakori Road, tomorrow (Tuesday) night, both meetings commencing at 8 o'clock. Mr. Wright advertises also that telephones may be used on polling day as follows:—Brooklyn 54-378, Ngaio 37-729, Karori 27-614, Wadestown 44-376, City 52-382 and 51-263.

Mr; W. J. Gaudin, Independent candidate for Wellington East, will speak at Kilbirnie,. St. Giles' Hall, tonight (Monday), and at Hataitai, Public Schoolroom, Hataitai Road, tomorrow (Tuesday). Both meetings at 8 o'clock.

Mrs. Knox Gilmer, Independent candidate for Wellington North, addresses her final'meeting of electors at St. Francis Hall, Hill Street, tomorrow (Tuesday)", 'at '8 p.m.' '

Mr. V. E. Jacobson, National candidate for the Hutt electorate, will address electors at the Empire Theatre, Petone, tomorrow night at 8 o'clock.

Mr. H. F. Toogood, National candidate for south, speaks tonight at St. Thomas' Hall, Newtown.

Mr. W. J. Mason, National candidate for Central, will speak at the Oddfellow's Hall, Clyde Quay, at 8 o'clock tonight.

Mr. O. C. Mazengarb, National candidate for Wellington East, will address the electors as follows:—Tonight, Lyall Bay, Seaside Pictures, at 8 o'clock; Tuesday, Miramar, South Public School, at 7 p.m.; and at St. Giles' Hall, Kilbirnie, at 8.15 p.m.

Mr. W. Duncan, Democrat candidate for Wellington East, speaks atSt. Jude's Hall, Lyall. Bay, tonight, and The Kiosk, Seatoun, tomorrow. Both meetings at 8 o'clock.

Colonel T. W. McDonald, Democrat candidate for Wairarapa, will speak at Martinborough tonight from' 7.30 to 8.15, and at Greytown from 8.40 to 9.15.

Mr. T. C. A. Hislop will speak about 9.45 tonight at Featherston on behalf of the Democrat candidate.
