JARVIS RETAINS TITLE

Jack Jarvis (Eltham) retained the lightweight boxing title in a drawn bout with Clarrie Rayner (Blenheim) at Eltham tonight. ■ j It was a fast, clean, and interesting bout, in which heavy punishment was given and taken, though both finished in good shape. There was not much between the boxers at any stage.
