NO PARTY POLITICS
FARMERS' UNION JOURNAL
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, November 22. Recent articles in 'Tpint Blank," the Farmers' Union journal, resulted in the following resolution, recommended by the organisation committee, being adopted at a meeting of the Southland provincial executive today: "After giving very careful consideration to a letter from the Dominion secretary, this committee strongly recommends that the provincial executive reaffirm a resolution passed at the last monthly meeting of this executive that 'Point Blank' should be kept absolutely clear of party politics. We also wish to point out that this union comprises members with all lines of political thought, and the necessity that the official paper of the union be kept absolutely free from party bias is obvious."
