RISE IN DAIRY PRODUCE
, The tmarket for New Zealand butter in Lortdon was steadier at the close of business for this week, according to the cabled report received today by the Dairy Board; and .wholesale quotations were about Is a'cwt above those for last -week. The market for Danish and otbjer butters was quiet.- Retail prices remain unchanged at Is Id a 1b for l|lew Zealand and Is 3d a lb for Dania;h. The chbese market is steady with the wholesale price slightly improved. New Zealand cheese is still quoted retail at 7d a lb. 1 Wholesale quotations for butter are: New ZeaUmd, salted, 103s to 104s a cwt (which ecjuals approximately 12.20 d a lb, f.0.b.) 'compared with 102s to 103s last week'y and 73s to 75s at the corresponding period last year; unsalted, 108s to-110s; Australian, 102s to 103s; Danish, spot, 12351t0 1245. ■ The butler stock position is as follows:— ■ . ■ November 22. ■ 1935. 1934.
