MARTINBOROUGH SALE.

Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having had a medium yarding of cattle at the Martinborough sale on Thursday last. There was a fair attendance of buyers, but bidding was not very spirited. Although practically everything was sold, venders had to be content with, in most cases, less than they expected to receive. We report the following prices—Fat cows, £4 5s to £5 15s; fat heifers, £4 11s to £5; light fat bullocks, £7 to £7 3s; yearling P.A. steers, to £4: two-year ditto, to £5 10sstore cows. £3 7s: empty Jersey cows. £2 to £2 ss; yearling Jersey 'heifers,' to £2 15s.
