SYDNEY, This Day.

Mr. C. J. Melrose in a message to the "Sydney Morning Herald" from Alor Star, expresses the opinion that Sir Charles Kingsford Smith and Mr. Pethybridge came down in the sea east or west of Victoria Point, where the peninsula- is less than 50 miles across.
