CANADIAN BUTTER
EXPORT STIMULUS
BIG INCREASE IN OCTOBER
OTTAWA, November 20.
Canadian butter exports in October were 6,496,700 pounds, worth 1,504,786 dollars, compared with 64,100 pounds, worth 14,002 dollars, in October last year.
The' increase is largely due to the stimulus of the Butter Marketing Board. In October 6,412,100 pounds were sent to the United Kingdom and 84,600 pounds to other countries.
