WEST COAST ACCIDENT

HOKITIKA, November 21. At the conclusion of an inquest into the death of Thomas Henry Hargreaves, aged 12, who died in the Westland Hospital on November 6 as a result of injuries received on the main south road below Ross, when cycling past a motor-lorry driven by George Searle. a verdict of accidental death was returned. The actual cause of the accident was not clear, but no blame was attachable to the lorry-driver.
