SIR C. KINGSFORD SMITH
It was agreed last night at a special general meeting of the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association that the president (Lieut.-Coloncl A Cowlcs, V.D.) should write to Lady Kingsford Smith expressing the hope that good news of Sir Charles Kingsford Smith would be received soon Colonel Cowles said that Sir Charles was a "Digger" and all returned men hoped that he was not lost as appeared probable at present.
