OPPORTUNISM

The sudden taking of a flashlight photograph of her took men and women by surprise at Mrs. Knox Gilmer's meeting last night. The cameramen were on the stage and were hidden from view by a curtain. When the light flashed people jumped, then laughed and giggled. It was an opportunity for Mrs. Gilmer, and she took full advantage of it.

"That is what you call being in the fire, and I think I stood the test quite well," she said. "I didn't flinch— (laughter)—and I think I will stand the test next week when that poll takes place." (Applause.)
