MARCONI HOPES TO EXPLAIN

LONDON, November 20.

The "Daily Telegraph's" Rome correspondent says that the Marchese Marconi will reach London on November 23 and will discuss the ban on his proposed broadcast from London with Sir John Reith, Director-General of the British Broadcasting Corporation.

The Marchese explains that he desires to make a friendly speech, putting the Italian viewpoint. He added that no first-class nation could be expected to take sanctions lying down.
