CANADIAN WHEAT BOARD

(Received November 20, 2.30 p.m.) OTTAWA, November 19. Indications are that the Canadian Wheat Board will be continued under the Mackenzie King Government for at least a year. Mr. John I. McFarland will be requested to continue as chairman.

Reference to the death of Mr. F. H. Bakewell, inspector of schools in the Wellington district for many years, was made at the meeting of the Wellington Education Board today. A resolution of sympathy was passed. Tributes to Mr. Bakewell as a teacher and an inspector were paid by Mr. W. H. Jackson and Mr. J. .1. Clark, who said that by the death of Mr. Bakewell they had tost a great friend.
