Mi-. Reginald t-und, chief of staff of "The Press," has keen appointed Edilor of the "Southland Times," Invercargill. He will succeed Mr. J. J. W. Pollard, who has resigned the- editorship as from the end of this year.

Mr. Lund started work as a cadet reporter with the Christchurch "Sun" in 1926, and joined the staff of "The Press" in 1930, and has been chie£ of staff. since the beginning of 1934.
