KATIPO SPIDERS

The question of katipo spiders has engaged the attention of some Petone councillors, and Councillor G. London states that the spiders are not found on the public portion of the beach at the eastern end of Petone. Councillor D. M. Dickson says that he spent some time looking for the spiders at the eastern end without result. Recently a number of -katipo spiders were caught between Lever Bros.' factory and the sandhills.
