NEARLY HALF THE CARD

Riccarton stables have been doing very well at the present New Zealand Cup Meeting, for during the two first days of the fixture they accounted for seven of the sixteen events decide:! Chidden. Wild Chase, and- Knockfin were the winners on the opening daw and on Monday Paper Slipper Seafox. Riptide, and Tunneller added to the tally of successes. Trentham and Wingatui have had the most profitable innings among the other centres. Trentham's three" winners have been Cuddle. Red Sun, and Going Gay. and Winsalui has scored with Osculate, Half Note, and Golden King. The remaining three races havn gone to Washdyke (Coatette), Hastings (Padishah), and Hawera (Lowenberg).
