EXCHANGE AND FARMERS (By 'IV.- —mil—Pross Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, November 12. At the annual meeting of the South Island Freezing Companies' Associar tion, held today, the question of any reduction in the exchange rate on London was discussed. The opinion was unanimously expressed that a reduction in the present rate would be disastrous to the farming community, while other exporting countries continue on their present basis of exchange.
