LATE DR. GIBB

A MEMORIAL SUGGESTED The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church decided last night to instruct its advisory board to consider the possibility of arranging a suitable memorial to tie late Rev. Dr. James Gibb, the board to report to the next Assembly. The Rev. L. M. Rogers, who introduced the mE:tter, said he thought it would be to the discredit of the church if it did not liave a memorial to the late Dr. Gibb to let future generations know of his worth. The memorial might perhaps take the form, of a lectureship on subjects in which Dr. Gibb was specially interested. The Rev. E,. S.Watson, who seconded the proposal, paid a tribute to Dr. Gibb, speakini; of his great leadership! and his streni.'th of character. .Many members of ihe Assembly, he. said, were under ii deep sense of debt to the late Dr. IJibb. •
