TO AVOID A CLASH

MYSTERY PARCEL DAY

POSTPONED

Owing to a misunderstanding regarding dates, the Smith Family has. decided to postpone its Mystery Parce'. Day announced for Friday of this; week. It was not until yesterday that; the directors of the family learned that. the Commercial Travellers' and Warehousemen's Association was holding its annual street day to raise funds for blinded soldiers and orphanages. In view of this fact it was felt that no good purpose would be served by a dual appeal to the public, and as the Mystery Parcels do not contain perishable goods they can be disposed of at a later date. .
