BUGLERS STOP TRAFFIC

AUCKLAND;. This Day. The strains of the "Last Post" sounded by ten buglers brought city traffic to a standstill this morning in the most impressive Armistice Day observance in Auckland for niany years. Hitherto it has been customary for the two-minute silence to be indicated by firing a gun at the Naval Base, but in rough weather arid the . ditv of traffic ths gun is often not heard. : ;
Today buglers stood at. intersections throughout the city streets and as the town clock struck eleveiv they: sounded the "Last Post." Two minutes later one long blast set traffic in motion. Citizens responded impressively. ■■■:-.
