CREW'S NARROW ESCAPE
(By Telegraph—Press Association.)
AUCKLAND, November 10.
Four yachtsmen, the crew of the 34----foot keeler Pandora, had a narrow escape from drowning when their craft was caught in a heavy squall and capsized between Brown's Island and Rangitoto.
After the crew, L. Jurjevic (skipper and owner), W. Morrison, W. Rewe, and H. Arndl, had struggled in their oil-skins for over a quarter of an hour, they were picked up by the launch Aumoe and brought back'to Auckland. Although in rather a serious plight, they were able to go to their homes.
'_ The yacht was subsequently recovered. ' .':.■'■".-■
