NOT A TALKER
"As your representative in Parliament for the past seven years; I have been twitted withnhe fact.that I have not filled Hansard as much as some of the other members," .said Mr. R. W. Hawke, National candidate for Kaiapoi, in an election address at Papanui, states the "Star-Sun." .. "Perhaps," he added, "I have not been a talker. 'I have felt that it has been a time for work, especially in the past four years, and a member can't work and talk all the time. A little talk is all right, but there can be too much of it. I'm prepared to stand entirely, by. what I have done, believing that it was in the best interests of the country and the people—not one.section alone."
