RUST-RESISTING SEED
READY FOR SOWING IN 1937

OTTAWA, November 7.
Rust-resisting wheat seed will be ready for distribution to Canadian farmers in 1937.
Major-General A. G. McNaughton, president of the National Research Council, predicts that it, will end the battle against plant disease which has been waged since 1925.
Three varieties of wheat have been developed that resist'black stem rust, which this year have cost farmers 100,000,000 dollars.
