TWO MEN SENT TO GAOL

SYDNEY, November 6.

At the second trial of Thomas Croft and Kenneth O'Connell on a charge of conspiracy to steal £690 from John Wilson, the jury returned a verdict of guilty.

Croft was sentenced to four years' imprisonment with hard labour, and O'Connell to three years' imprisonment with hard labour.

The jury at the first trial was discharged when it was found that one of the jurymen had a criminal record.
