NO HOSTILE ALLIANCES

GOVERNMENT POLICY

INTERNATIONAL JUSTICE

(British Official Wireless.) (Received November 7, noon.)

RUGBY, November 6,

An election oroadcast address was delivered last night by Mr. Ramsay MacDonaldj Leader of the National Labour Group. '-

Referring to the policy of the group in foreign affairs, he said that the prime object of the National Government had been, and would remain, to ensure that the bad old days of hostile alliances, building armed camps, and trusting in national armaments should disappear for over. It was largely owing to the lead which Britain had been able to give that today there was renewed hope that the League of Nations might after all secure peace for Britain and establish a rule of law and justice between nations. ,
