MR. JACOBSON'S COMMITTEE

A meeting of supporters of Mr. V. E. Jacobson, Nationalist candidate for the Hutt, was held at the Oddfellows' Hall, Petone, last "evening. Mr. Jacobson gave an outline of the purposes for which the meeting was held and those present formed themselves into a local committee, together with others who were unable to attend but who wished to join the organisation. It was decided to hold a further meeting at an early date, when a complete organisation would be arranged.

A motion of confidence in the can-didate-was passed.
