HEMP AND TOW.

The chief Government hemp grader (Mr. \V. Petrie) reports that 1981 bales of hemp were graded at the ports of the Dominion last month, as against 1404 in October, 1934, an increase of 577 bales. Bales of tow graded numbered 365, an increase of 25 over October last year.
