OBITUARY

MR. DANIEL D. DEE

There died recently a 4 Manly, New South Wales, Mr. Daniel D. Dee, the second son of a well-known old Thorndon family.

For the past twenty-seven years he had been in business in Sydney, and fifteen months ago, accompanied by his wife, he left on an extended tour abroad. While in London on the return journey to Australia he contracted a severe chill. His intentions were to travel via America and New Zealand to visit members of his family in Wellington, but he was advised to return to Australia. ■ '

Mr. Dee was educated at Thorndon School in the late Mr. Mowbray's time, and at the early ' Marist Brothers' School, Boulcott Street. He ' leaves his widow and two brothers, in Australia and a sister and two brothers in Wellington. • :
