j In an. address to electors at the ! Social Hall, Silverstream, last evening the Nationalist candidate for Wairarapa, Mr.. J. W. Card, outlined his party's policy. He made special reference to the guaranteed price scheme. He said that the people had had time to examine the fallacies of the scheme, and would have nothing to do with it. At the conclusion of the meeting, which was presided over by Mr. Fred. Castle," a motion of thanks and con^ fidence was declared carried.
