MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Thomas Hudson, a seaman, and William George Hall, a labourer, were each fined 20s and costs by Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today, for fighting in Victoria Street. For drunkennr-ss they were convicted and discharged. William Gordon, a labourer, aged 46, was fined 10s and costs, in default 24 hours' imprisonment, for his second olfence of drunkenness.
A charge of unlawfully converting a motor-cnr on November 3. brought against Thomas Skalchill, a shop assistant, aged 29, was dismissed. For drunkenness he was fined 10;; and costs.
